Why wouldn't 800 be an option?
It is. It is now showing in the specs
i thin they are just scrambling to get it all edited
those look very clear are the mega si included in the chirp
Wish I would of known something about this since I just bought two Helix 10 SI units and 360 a month ago......
core series has always been updated on a semi annual schedule. if you watch for the clues you can tell when something is coming. maybe someone should start a buyers guide like they do for apple products

Is the extra detail and range going to really help? Seems like the added benefits wouldn't be fully realized without an exceptionally large screen to really show it all.
So what is best for extended range on side imaging past 200 ft. per side? Is it Mega SI or is it the 420-520 khz chirp SI shown in the specs of the HELIX 7 CHIRP SI GPS G2? From the information I've seen, Mega SI is supposed to extend to 400 ft. per side using only 455 khz at that range, while the true chirp SI of 420-520 khz is only 240 ft. per side. That doesn't make sense!
MEGA is the 1200 kHz (or 1.2 mKz) and it has the shortest range capability.
There is no MEGA Helix 7 models so you cannot compare any Helix 5 or Helix 7 models with the MEGA SI units. The standard SI transducer for the H5 and H7 SI units is the Compact SI transducer XNT 9 SI 180 T.
Mega only goes out 125' on both sides, 455 will go out to 400' each side
Specs for the Mega units have been cleaned up on the HB website ...

HELIX 9 SI G2N still doesn't show the "DI" feature icon ... but that's a small oversight I'm sure ...

All the same manual, except the H12MSI link incorrectly names the PDF an ASPX file...LOL
Will this ever become a upgrade for 1100 series
