That will probably be the most irrelevant game out of all them. I'd say half the starters on each team won't play. Why would they?

With NIL, the players are making more money than a lot of coaches, and they still sit out some bowl games. All out of sorts in the college game.

How so? Expansion was formalized many months ago, there is nothing to 'get behind'. CFP is a buy stock, regardless of teams in the playoffs.

CFP TV deals inked and 99% of ad revenue booked, long before this committee met for the first time. AL is no bigger TV ad draw than FSU. How did TCU get in (after losing their conf. title game), if the committee is all about $$$$?

after all, said and done GA beats FSU and that clears that deal, AL beats Michigan and the TX beats Washington, then the rematch AL vs TX to clear that up! lost record and the rematch is the key. Yes, it's tough to get left out but that's why they say the best teams are in top 4. I thought FSU was better than Washington but it's what it is now.

AL did improve and its sad to hear about money being the reason they are in; funny how other teams have reacted to AL being in. SO now it's up to AL to prove a point. and just may. THE GA /FSU game should help clear up the rankings.

Totally agree, this is just the tip of the iceberg for CFB being ruined. Just call it the NFL Developmental League and quit with all the charades about tradition, student athletes, etc.

The best 4 teams are NOT in the Final Four.

There will be more starting players on both UGA and FSU teams sitting than playing, so that game basically means nothing.

This is what everyone is overlooking so terribly. If you took any one of those committee members and told them they had to put a large amount of money on a game between Georgia and Washington on a neutral field, none..and I mean NONE OF THEM is putting their money on Washington. That tells you right there "best 4 teams" is a fraud.

ACC is 6-4 against the SEC this year. FSU is 2-0 against the SEC this year with one being a win against #5 LSU at the time. Historically I believe the SEC has won around 65% of the ACC matchups.

Now they are saying they left FSU out because they didn't want another TCU type game. If I remember correctly didn't TCU beat the no.2 ranked team in Michigan? Sure they lost big in the title game but it is not like they didn't win a playoff game and didn't deserve to play for a Nattie.
