2008 - ROUEN 24 hour race. One really special E-Tec
This is the Race E-Tec fitted to a DAC tunnel hull in the 24 hour race in Rouen, France, running non stop from Wednesday 30 April thru Thursday 1 May 2008. This is going to be the race of the century (so far). 1 E-Tec up against 13 Mercs

Its a non stop 24 hour race. Therefore they need lights. It is night in Rouen right now. Full throttle in rough water (230kph at times). Greatest boat race in the world. 1 x E-Tec & 13 x Mercs in Class 3. They are into the 6th hour. E-Tec running 5th.
Its all tactics now. Things really get serious in about the 16th hour onward.
