Just Got the Etec Back From 1st Service
Just Got the 90hp back from the service shop after the 3 year scheduled maintenance. Now looking at the really cool "Engine Identification Report" I see that I have Prog Version 3030334 Prog. Revision 72936 and Map Version 90H0408. Does this mean I have the most up to date EMM software? Also, I have been experiencing a miss at high rpm cruising, the faults are as follows:
No Hard Faults Found
No Stored Faults Found
Persistent Engine Faults
Code 32 10 times Last 4 Oil pressure switch not switching between oil pulses
Code 38 2 times last 33 Oil pressure pulses in distribution manifold not detected
would these codes cause my engine to miss at high rpm cruising?
The graphical representation of time spent at rpm ranges is also very interesting.
Does this data indicate anything worrisome about my engine?
Thanks,

Was this report taken before the service?
If so, I think you need the inline update, could be wrong but here is my take.
Your revision number 72936 leads me to believe you need the inline update and once loaded your dealer needs to load revision 96905.
You have warranty until 5-20-08 get it back to your dealer. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Re: Just Got the Etec Back From 1st Service (ELGIN)
Maybe before maybe after, they gave me two print outs 50 mins apart so I am not sure. both print outs have indentical readouts except the number of starts and the time stamp. I was hoping that one of the Etec gods would check my serial number in the Evinrude data base and let me know for sure.
