st.johns river around palatka city docks..

Does carolina rig's and crank baits work on the river around this time of year here.. I have caught fish before using these techs here but its always been in the summer months..would i be better off throwing somthing else to help get more bites right now..I am trying to figuire what rods i need to bring when i head down there soon..thanks fellas

this time of year youre usually better off going shallow, more, bigger fish to be had at various stages of the spawn...that being said....ive always got a c rig and crankbait tied on when i go http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
