I am not a " brave" guy, when it gets below 12.5 I no longer run the lake. alot more idling and trolling motor for me.

At 13.5 or lower I will not run the back trail up the shoal. I've seen spots were it looks like slabs of concrete where poured. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif Under 13 I start to pay attention to the depth finder before coming of plane. Sometimes you got to trim the motor way up when coming down to be safe, and wash the back deck http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
If you have an agile passenger with you, have them go up and lay on the front deck while getting up and off plane.
