What colors does everyone use for jerkbaits during winter in Florida?
I've been throwing blue/chrome now and figure I'll go with the more Bluegill colors come spring. Sound about right or anyone using something different?

If you talking about hard jerkbaits, I can't remember the last time I threw one of those. You throw those in canals down here?
I have been using them lately and the fish have been tearing them up. I've been using the chrome/blue Smithwicks Rattlin Rogue and it really seems to trigger them pretty good. It also seems to work good if I see some fish hitting baitfish on the surface. I actually fish them a little away from the bank once the cloudcover moves in or when we get a light chop on the water.
Do not forget gold - its a premiun color in Florida for traps, topwater, and jerk baits - especially on overcast days or water with a slight tanic color

seriously, the wt cools down to spawning temps in the southern part of the state ( big O ) in central and n fl, it cools past 64 degrees in december, and then it usually depends on a good warming trend and enough sunlight penetration to the bottom.....
