Recommendations for Boat mechanics
Looking for recommendations for a good boat mechanic in the area. I live in Royal Palm Beach and could travel up to an hour if need be. Looking for basic preventive maintenance.
Also blew a tire on the trailer yesterday, looking for Goodyear Marathons.
Thanks for any help.

Goodyears suck!!! None of them are very good, Go to Big T tire in Arcidia, get their cheap tire, it will last as long as any of them. For maintenence see Bobby at Central Fla Yamaha in Lake Placid, he' been helping me for about 15 years.

wish you lived closer to J'ville I would recommend Jeff at Isle of Palms on Hwy 17. If any of you are ever up this way his place is right on the st. johns. He is a TOP notch mechanic. I take everything to him. If you need his number it's (904) 215-0909. Any of you N FL boys looking for a mechanic should check him out. He's in Orange Park.

Joel has been around for a long time, the few times I used him he was pretty thorough and was priced very fair, Back then he wasn't Merc certified though so couldn't use him for warrenty. Great guy to deal with though.
Rick at Presision Out Board is pretty dam good to for Yammies and Mercs in Delray Bch. He is in the ware houses off 95 where Bobs Barricades used to be.
HighPerfomance I use Domininc at S&M Marine in Davie, can be hard to get a hold of but does good. reasonably priced work.
