Aaron Martens...

The girlfriend and i went to Outback steakhouse last night for supper on Wells rd in Orange Park. We sat in the bar area and i looked over and told my girlfriend i think that was Aaron Martens. I didnt know for sure until we walked by us and said something to his buddy and then i knew for sure it was him. I didnt want to bother him while he was with friends and family. But, when we were leaving he was walking towards us shook his hand real quick and told him i was a big fan. He then said "you know who i am" and i said of course your Aaron Martens. He said "oh thats cool i didnt think anyone would know me around here". Then i told him i was bass fisherman and then i joked with him and said well bud you are in Florida. He was like "True". I asked him if he was fishing a tournament around here this week and he said no he was here for a surprise birthday party for a family member. I was trying to make short talking to him because we were leaving and plus he was with people there. So i left and told him Good Luck in the Classic! Then he said "Thanks that means alot. I have fished there alot and im looking forward to fishing there"

I figured i would share this with you guys. I thought it was cool. He was a cool guy. Also from the sounds of it, watch for Aaron Martens in the 2010 Bassmaster CLassic.

had a similar experience last year. Was in outback in Gainesville and saw Roland Martin with his daughter (she was a senior at UF). We were waiting on a table and he came in behind us, just shook his hand and spoke with him for a minute while we both waited to be seated.
