23" Renegade or 24"Raker.........................Roger http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
Re: Prop question (bore_pig)
If RPM's are currently correct, and all you want is increased bow lift, go with a 24" Turbo Lightning. Although some of the old style Raker props give great bow lift, the Lightning will be even better.
Re: Prop question (dnyhuf)
Do you have experience with these props? They look nice! The price is right too! I wonder if the turbo or the lightning would be better for me. Does the lightning offer as much bow lift as the turbo? I know this is a lot of questions, but I'm definitely interested!
Re: Prop question (bore_pig)
The Lightning is a Turbo. Go to http://www.turbo-props.com. The Lightning has the most bow lift I have seen.
Re: Prop question (dnyhuf)
I had the same issue with a Raker not providing enough lift and sent it to a prop shop to have some lift added and not it works great. A little cheaper than buying a new prop.
Re: Prop question (206champ)
24 tempest I run a 27 on my 225 ho and loaded with 2 people 240 and 280 Lbs 50 gallons of gas 69.3 gps had good lift and speed
Re: Prop question (lkhartwl)
Can a tempest be hubbed for an e-rude?
Re: Prop question (bore_pig)
Re: Prop question (The Green Hornet)
A tempest is actually what I would like. What kind of price can I expect? I keep finding about $470 for the prop, but can't find a price on the hub assembly.
Re: Prop question (bore_pig)
When you get the prop from a dealer (I think) that you can specify which hub assembly that you want...................Roger http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
