anyone have any info,on fishing,lake henderson or lake hernando

is thses two little lakes any good now,if so any input on where to fish and what to use

if there is enough water they can be awesome lakes but here lately they have been to low for bass boats

I live on little Lake Henderson. Our water levels have been very low for a long time. However with all the rain down south the river has risen to a point that swiftmud has opened the locks and the lakes are rising now, have been for about two weeks. Floral City is full and Henderson it getting there, Henrnando wiil not get any water till Henderson reaches 37.5 ft which should be soon if the rains keep up. I suspect the fishing will still be some what slow till the fish get relocated with the rising water.

how and what would be a good plan of attack on the lake in floral city?

Before I went to Ca. on 0807 My wife and I fished Floral City (Earthworm77's Mom won't let him play with me anymore) and I caught a nice 7.4 using a Magnum Trick worm in Gr. Pump...

There is a big hole that is 50' deep and this one was evidently swimming the flats... I just got back last night so sometime this week I am headed out there again. I'll let you know how it works out.

P.S. The launch has parking for 4 or 5 veh. (2 Handicapped spots) so I'd suggest getting there early or make the walk from the park

well i went ther this morning and got a couple dinks and a 3' gator... i couldn't find any holes that held any quanity of fish..any help you can trow out there.. by the way the ones i did catch were early morning speed wormin by pads at road overpass

as you head out from Duval Island (launch that I use off of the Main Drag) and pass the "No Wake Zone" and then the "Caution-Rocks" sign, you continue as you head North, you will see a house on the first point to the left (yellow house) as you look along the shore (western side) you will see a tall dead tree (on the PORT side) that is the start point. Stop here and look across the lake and there is another dead tree on the other side of the lake which looks like a 'fork' between these 2 trees is the 50'+ hole. I would guestimate that the hole is about 40'-65' from the dead tree on the left. I know these directions are kinda screwy but thats about it. I am headed out there on Wed. or Thur. if you want to hook up I can show you the area...

Is the pads area/ bridge overpass out towards the second "Caution/Rocks" sign?


EDIT: I was out there w/my wife on Sunday in a red Triton from around 0830-1330 then off to Shamrocks Inn for the Garlic wings and Shamrock burgers...

I was in Ca. for a family emergency and now have been advised I have to go back for a "Cold Case rape" I handled in 97. Making me think that my CSI work is impeccable. I tried having my Dope partner handle the case and even told the DA I HAVE to travel 1st Class due to my back/neck. I leave the 17th and come back the 23rd so I'll have some $$$ and Piece of mind for the Fall Season... Maybe I'll get another Carrot Stix?

Get a Cumara or a Crucial instead....lifetime warrantee and doesn't look like something that dripped out of my nose when I had the flu.
