big bass bustin little bait,but won't hit lures
hey guys,fish a large golf course lake,since the shad spawn,the bass have been going crazy on pods of mini hatch,i've thrown everything i can think off,but only and occasional fish when there hitting all over place,how would you catch them??there are some reel honkers,not little bucks smashing this bait,goes on all night,one i thought one was a gator,has to be a teen bass,never seen a fish move so much water,a monster!!!! was so good before the summer hit, catch anywhere from 8-20 fish,up tp 8 lbs. now i'm lucky to catch 4,confidence now down,in april, was ready for kvd,now wondering if i could beat helen keller (did she fish)but i keep going,keep trying,hope the fishen gods watchen,see me paying the price,but ther's got to be a way to catch these fish,there feeden,heavy,please help??? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif

Try a popper for when they surface. That usually fools a few. Also, try a lipless CB and a soft plastic jerkbait. Those finicky fish can be a real headache.

This is one of my favorite times to fish. The key is when fish are feeding on small fry is to pick a bait that puts out the same vibration as the fry. For example I'll throw a speed worm, horny toad,Tiny torpedo, or a 1/8 oz. spinnerbait. Then as the fry grows I'll move up to a Cane toad, spook jr., or a 1/4 oz. spinnerbait.

1/8 or 1/4 oz. flutter spoon.throw it out and let it sink on slack line.
