flip flip and flip.....the bite had been tuff..head to marsh
that was the original plan
is there any fish in lake griffin, i think it is totally no good at all
i watched several pros work griffin during the southern open this past spring (may not apply at all now) and they were flipping kissimmee grass on the south end (toward the west.)
i've talked to a couple guys who fish the chain frequently and they were talking about how high the water is on the entire chain and how it's changed where the fish have been located as of late. they're positioned differently but can still be found flipping and out on any of the offshore structure (shell beds, brushpiles, etc.)
but with the water being high, the outlook for next year seems to be great. if the water is high enough, the fish that spawn in the canals will stick around afterward instead of high-tailing to the main lakes!!!! i hope this is the case! apparently the locks wont be used much, if at all, anymore. i guess the weir between big harris and griffin will be the only means of water control going forward. again, this is what i heard and could be wrong (im no harris pro!) if it is the truth, this could make for an awesome 2010.
Go to the marsh+off Haines Creek) or go thru Hainer into Eustis and fish there.....John
