PBA on John's today

Dell and Eric finished first, dad and I finished 2nd. It was a long hot day. To start with I had a fish that even the lie detector (scales) would have went 6+ when she got to the boat she took one last hard pull and actually opened the hook eye loop! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/sick.gif Dell blew out his brand new trolling motor in the first few minutes of the day had to go home, get Eric's boat and return. It was tough man but what a day. Dad and I are in first place, Greg Mann is in Second, and Dell made a good jump up the boards! 1st was 7.0lbs, 2nd 5.2 (I think). Dad and I got our last two fish to finish out the limit with about 10 minutes to go. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

Thanks Mike and Greg, ya'll run a good tourney. The day was tuff for us....fo sho. The troller I installed musta had a small leak into the motor in the foot and after I got off the water yesterday it had time to rust/f-up the electronics on the inside. Eric will have it all fixed sooner than later, I hope and I'll be faster than normal, as usual.

We didn't cast a line until 7:55am. That left us with 5 hours to come up with something....must have just been enough. BTW, it was a hot SOB!!!!

Let's take some time to talk about this......Our buddie, Greg Mann, was working a shoreline for a few hours. I even made a coment to my partner, something like, damn, he must be on something on that shore.
