Results of November NoAl Tournament on Guntersville
The NoAl group had our November tournament on Guntersville yesterday. The morning started off pretty chilly but fortunately warmed up as the day progressed. The turnout was pretty light with only four boats participating but I think everyone had a good time nonetheless. I think this is the first tournament I can remember where every team had at least one 3+ pound bass.
First place went to Robert and Derek with a five bass limit weighing 16.45 pounds and "Big Fish" honors went to Harry and Alan with a real nice 3.88 pound largemouth.
We had also planned to have a short meeting after the tournament to hammer out the details for next year's schedule but decided that we really didn't have enough members to make sure every geographical section was well represented. Look for a poll right after the holidays and we'll get it all sorted out then.
Thanks again to everyone who attended and I look forward to seeing everyone again soon! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

We had a lot of fun yesterday fellers. I wish the turn out had been a bit better, but some folks is better than none at all. My butt is still sore from the beating we took on our runs up lake. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
Anyway, sure was good to see the folks that turned out.
Based on the other tournament at the ramp, I guess we should have ALL been throwing A-Rigs, all day.
Here's the pic of AlBasser and myself from the weigh-in:

If that's what they caught 'em on, they must've been fishing where we weren't! We threw one for a while but didn't have any success with it at all. You would think something that heavy would be easier to cast but it's so big and bulky that it has quite a bit of wind resistance and you can't really cast it very far. And because it's so heavy, it sounds like somebody fell out of the boat when it hits the water! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif

We had a good time as well. Can't wait for that January BBC North meeting / BBQ at your house Avery.
