Boat is loaded....Here we come GVille!!!
Well the truck is packed and the boat is bursting with tackle and we are leaving at 7am in the morning heading to the Big G from West Virginia. Will be the first trip there and we are excited as heck. Any local pointers will be useful http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif . We have a cottage on Columbus Lane in Scottsboro and will be launching from middle of the lake. Can't wait, taking a pit stop at Bass Pro in Severiville to buy more stuff http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif , then on the water we go. I posted a topic about our trip back in Feb and I appreciate all you guys input. Good Fishing http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/newyear1.gif

We are staying at Fishermens Village. There will be a red black Z521 and a white blue Champion there. I think were going at a great time. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

No they are not on the water but close to a ramp.
Re: Boat is loaded....Here we come GVille!!! (Eric521)
The bad weather has dropped water temps to mid 50's, max 58. We need some sunshine. Morning temps at 6 am will be 42 with raind and wind. Cant wait! Beats working.

Re: Boat is loaded....Here we come GVille!!! (Lucky1)
Well here is a little about our trip.....first off, man what a lake LOL...being a first timer I was blown away. Seems it can be very dangerous to run if you don't pay attention to detail. The cold fronts we had to deal with didn't help the fishing any but we still caught lots of fish with the biggest of the trip being a 6lber. Like I say we caught alot of fish and all real quality healthy fish. I must say though, I have never seen so many bass boats in all of my life. Every boat ramp you go to was full and the lake was full of boats, that is what really blew me away. Something that also amazed me is how the towns of Scottsboro and Guntersville caters to the fishermen, it seems they really care about the sport and support it fully. Also the dang tackle at WalMart in Guntersville is more then any tackle shop I have here in WV around me LOL, I loved it. We stayed at Fishermens Village on Columbus Lane between Waterfront and Guntersville and I tell you guys one thing, that place is awesome, we loved it and it was extra clean and felt like home. They have a shed you pull your boat under so its out of the weather and outlets close where you can charge your batteries. We will always stay there every trip back. It was fun and I enjoyed every minute of it and look forward on coming back. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
