Cedar Creek

Got a tourny on Cedar in August. What can I expect from it.. Is the bite good that time of year? Any and all help appreciated....Thanks

Expect it to be HOT. Go deep with big stuff or really small stuff. Should be able to find plenty of schooling fish but they won't be very big.

try the deep points with timber on them, throw a big crankbait big worm and they may still hit a big spinnerbait. watch for the big island out in the middle and be careful when you go towards the dam.

everyone seems to be spot on.............they will be deep and in times past, 10" or larger texas worms worked for me..........the water will likely be crystal clear also
