Results of NoAl tournament at Weiss Lake

We had a good turnout for the May NoAl tournament at Weiss Lake yesterday. The fish even cooperated for once with nearly every boat bringing a limit to the scales. Some even got tired of catching bass and chased stripers for a while! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif

Anyway, here are the results. First place honors went to the team of Harry Speegle and Alan Carter with a nice limit weighing 12.45 pounds. They also had big fish honors with a nice 5.3 pound largemouth. Second place went to the team of John Scogin and David Scogin with a limit weighing 9.5 pounds. Derek Coburn finished in third place with a 9.15 pound limit.

Thanks to everyone who participated. Our next tournament will he on June the 13th on Wheeler. That's a week earlier than our typical "third week of the month" deal so look for the sign up post in the next couple of days. We'll be launching out of Ingall's Harbor in Decatur right on ALT US-72. Had great time , sure had a blast catching those stripe, nearly a fish every cast while it lasted. It kinda woke us up to be able to finish the day. We also had crappie and catfish also and a few bass.

We really enjoyed the trip, it was lotsa fun to fish somewhere new to us. Tommy and Terry, we enjoyed yall's company, having a meal with us after the TX, I still don't know about Chili on hashbrowns though http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
