I'm heading down this week and will be fishing mid to lower lake probably . Any suggestions for a ramp and somewhere to sleep that's not going to break the bank. All I need is a clean bathroom and a bed. Don't need a fancy hotel. Thanks!

Daniel, I've only been to Guntersville once. I stayed in Guntersville at the Days Inn. It was around $50 per night and they have some boat parking too.
daniel...the cheapest place we have found that has room is creekstone lodge....3/4 of a mile from mud creek ramp, close to scottsboro...rooms at state park, and covenant cove are around 95 a night..

Days Inn in Scottsboro.
Waterfront if they still rent the house behind the store is the cheapest. Wouldn't want to take the family on vacation but good enough to lay dow and to wash up.
Looks like I'll be staying at the El Cheapo Budget in. Price was good and all I need is a bed and bathroom that's half way clean. Can't wait to get down there. Never fished Guntersville before. Hopefully we'll catch a few fish.
Are you back yet?? How'd you do?? Thinking of coming over there in a few weeks. How was the bite??
We had a good time but the bite was slow for us. No big fish caught but did manage several 3lbers. Most fish were caught on topwater but no real pattern. Seems to be a lot of grass down there. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
Good deal! A lot of grass? Hell, I hope the lake is covered with it! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif Hey, 3lbers ain't nothing to sneeze at. They're just as fun to catch as any. What part of the lake were you on?? Lower, towards Honeycomb or Upper towards Goose Pond or Mid-lake around Siebold and Preston Island??
We moved around a lot. Fished from Mudd Creek down to the lower end of the lake.
