Daune i fished that area this weekend and its a very nice park and some real nice camping sites some of the nicest i have seen, beats anything we have on the twins in KY..
It's our favorite camp ground in Alabama just have not been able to camp any in the last 4 years.Sites are large enough for our 34 foot/ wide body( 102") without any trouble getting in. They have some nice boat dock also and a ramp close to the camp grounds that is for the camper and anyone else. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif
Duane,
Can you bring the camper down the week of 24,25,26,27 of September? We have our Regional tournament out of the State Park that week and could use some cheap accomodations. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
Call Mountain Lakes Resort. They will probably give you a week for free, you just have to sit through the sales spill.
It is a very nice campground and facilities. Only drawback I see is the sinding road back to it, but its worth it.
