Stratos transom problems

What years did Stratos have transom problems. I was told that I think the extreme models had problems. Looking at 2004. Just wondering. Thanks ahead

I don't think it was a transom problem. If I remember correctly, it was a pad problem on the 20' Extremes. I also think it was around 2004. Not exactly sure though.

I am not aware of any transom problems but then again I could be wrong.
I believe what you are talking about was not a transom issue with the Stratos Extreme series boats, but rather what came to be called the Stratos lean. It was an issue on some hulls around 2000 and there was a factory recall where Stratos corrected the issue.

I do know that when I bought my 2001 20ssExtreme the serial number came back with a clean bill of health for the lean issue.

I maybe wrong but I was thinking some of the early model (dont remember the year) SS Extreme 19's were prone to bow hook. If my memory is correct there was a bad mold and Stratos sent out a notice to get the hull replaced for free.

At the time it gave the entire line up of Extreme boats a black eye but in reality it was one bad mold for one size boat...it may have been the 20 but I am thinking the 19 had bow hook problems.

Stratos had some bow hook problems on the extreme boats, I believe all those hulls were recalled destroyed and replaced. Bumble bee, sprint and bass cat had some transom problems. To my understanding those problems were corrected as well.

No problems with any of the 2004 models.
