Really? Don't understand that!
I agree Lea. When it was Champion---any updates on models being changed, ie, console change from 2007 to 2008 on all of the Elites was announced by mid-july.
So sinc there have been no announcements---I take it all remains the same. On this board there has been talk of a NEW Stratos model. Yet no official announcment? When is the Dealer meetings for the PE group?
They may have already had dealer meetings. Jason sent me a pic of the 202 they had ready for the meeting, and that was back in the first part of July.
So no changes to the Elites as far as reconfiguring anything on the deck, consoles, trailers, etc?
Passenger console is still removeable?

As I remember it, we were always fussing about the web page no being updated http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif Dealer meeting was the week of July 10, I think. There was one thread here, but have not seen any pix from it ... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif
But we still had word from a dealer or pics of model changes or new facelifts to current models either during the dealer meeting or a day or two after. Now here we are almost a month after the meeting and Nothing?
I heard earlier this year that the Stratos/Champ Elites could possibly see some facelift changes--like center rod storage and a day box in front of the driver console. Also having a new black vinyl configuration for the driver dash to allow for flush mounting of up to 10" electronics. And possibly the 183 rated up to 200 hp or limit it to 150 and price it to compete with the Nitro Z7. They were awaiting dealer input on this back in March.
Perhaps Jason Bragg can chime in here.
Love my Stratos but the website is always way behind!!
I can only answer one question....passenger console is removable...I have not heard about any other changes to the Elites. This is not to say there are no changes..I just don't know of any.
Sure do like Ron's aluminum trailer!!!! Would love to see that as a normal option instead of a special order.
Guy from Stratos' facebook page said a new 18'9" boat is coming soon. Said they will be releasing pics sometime in September. That's all I've heard.
Whats the difference b/w a Option and a Special order?
The aluminum trailer is not advertised as an option. I just happened to ask about it and they checked with their trailer shop and said they could build one to fit my boat for $ XXXX.00 more than the package trailer.

Options are features/items that are regularly available...such as livewell pump-out, tandem axles, upgraded electronics, etc, etc. Special orders are things which are not a normal part of the line-up....such as Ron's trailer.
Would love to know when the plan is for a new model....I will be in the market for a new boat in 4-6 months.

From the Stratos side---nothing new since the 201 EVO.
From the Champion side----anything updated on what the Elites came over to them with or all the same. just nothing new from the stratos or champion model either in changes to existing models or a new boat?
basically ranger is the only thing that has made any changes from the PE group. Nothing from the other 3??? similar to what Genmar did---all the capital and advertising was poured into ranger.
Stratos is coming out with a new hull probaly late September....the boat is eventually going to replace the 285....from what I hear it will still be rated for 150hp....blah!

Was'nt that the intent of the 285 Stratos?
