I need help with a better hole shot
I have recently acquired a 1997 Stratos 201 Pro Elite with a 225 Evinrude and 13.25x25 Renegade 4 blade prop. It is horrible out of the hole. I am not to interested in super fast speeds. I would be happy with a 50 mph boat or better if possibe. Any suggestions? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif

Get a Tempest or Trophy with pvs holes and you can tune them for great hole shot. And then you can tune even more with motor height adjustments. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
Re: I need help with a better hole shot (ep72)
I have a 99 with a 200, my hole shot is great. I am running a temptist 24 pitch. its about 3.5 off the pad. Stratos recommends the motor be on the 3rd hole with the jackplate even. I have found that to be the best set up for me. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. I'm new to this so what do you mean by the jack plate being "even"?
Re: I need help with a better hole shot (ep72)
Thanks for the advise. What are pvs holes?
Re: I need help with a better hole shot (boothealspur)
They are exaust vent holes in the prop which you can tune for holeshot with different sized plugs.
