I have a 09 200 xl and I am considering a keel guard. Is there in negatives to a keel guard. Always thought they might effect proformance at slower speed when its in the water. Would be real handy picking up partner on ramp instead of waiting my turn at the dock. I noticed others with keel guards doing this.
I have noticed no performance issues with my KeelShield. I would not own a bass boat without having one installed. A great investment and not real difficult to install yourself. Just have an extra pair of hands nearby. It really is best to have 2 people working on installation. Go get one and you will never be sorry you did!!!
