Trailer Wheels very hot to touch.
I noticed last week after towing my boat for about 80 miles that my trailer wheels and tires were excessively hot. What maintenance do I have to do to the oil bath system on the trailer. Boat is an 04 200 pro xl. Could they have been really hot because the temps are so hot it was over 95 that day.

50psi I just checked them last week, I talked to a guy at ranger he said that my brakes were probably dragging that it very seldom has anything to do with the hubs. I cannot remember if I pushed the lever to make sure the brakes were disengaged or not.

As Mike pointed out, 60 psi for interstate speeds.

I was going to try that too.
