Stratos owners selling their boats.
I've heard a few folks talking of selling their Stratos boats, due to Stratos's current buisness situation. At first I thought this was a bad thing for Stratos owners. Really in the long run it may not be as bad as I once thought. For every owner that sells his Stratos, some one else is going to get a really great deal by purchasing that used boat and find out it is just as good if not a better boat than the other companies that hyped their brand for so many years. I've owned three 201s and fished in water that would have sunk alot of rigs. Never the less, if they stop making Stratos boats tomorrow, I'll know I've got a boat that will last as long as I need it to.HYPE is the only thing that Stratos is lacking in that some of the other brands are abundant in. I'll get off of my soap box now, sorry if I ticked some one off, but the truth hurts some times http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif

Had my 1988 201 the first year they made them and would not sell it for noting it's not the fast boat in the pond but it show do ride good in good weather are bad . Have not had any problems out of it ,beside a weak spot around the floor drain where i would let it sit out side , which was a easly fix around $50.00 and the carpet has aged and needs to be replaces and some work to the trailer brakes, but after 22years things do needs to be replace ? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif

I've not heard of anyone dumping Stratos' because of the change. However......if there is anyone wanting to I'd be happy to purchase!
