What speeds are you all seeing out of your 621, and what motor/prop? Just wondering if mine is normal or if I should try a different prop. 2017 621 FS 300 G2 stock prop getting about 53 top with fishing gear full fuel tank

I don't have one but 300hp should get to 55-56, I heard they will do 80 from owners.... clearly they do not. The multi species boats are everywhere up here so that's how I have my educated opinion
Your rpms? And have you found a prop slip calculator? If you have excessive slip, motor height or prop can change speed and I believe if you have less load it could get to 61 "sometimes"
I think they claim up to 80 in the bass models. Multi species not so much.
I haven't run it in months due to ice but hopefully refresh my memory on the rpms tomorrow. Honestly, no idea what a prop slip calculator is but I'll Google one and see if I can figure it out lol
i've talked to 2 guides running 621's with 300 HO G2's and they are happy if they can get to 65. Both are happy to run 60 with 4 people on board.
Not the same but I have a 2003 620 vs with 200 Yamaha HPDI and my best is 46. So I would think yours is about right maybe push 60'ish.
I run a 2017 621 300/verado 19p Rev 4 with a 9.9 kicker 10’ power pole and enough tackle in the boat for 4 guys. Lol and only seeing 52/53 on good day at 5800ish rpms. No jackplate.
What’s the “stock prop”?
The new Ranger 620 and 621 fs series are considerably slower than the prior models,..
Prior to this rig I ran a 2004 621 w/225 Opti, 9.9 kicker, Power pole etc and was seeing 53/54 out of it.. The new hulls are definitely a new beast..
My new Tuffy 2100 I just got has a g2 300 with the stock RX4 prop. I've heard really good things about a Bravo 2 on the G2 300.
