Im gonna guess a 27 t1. One of the Yam guys will be along to help ya with good info. Welcome to the Stratos forum. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
I have a 09 294 evo and series 2. I have a 26 Fury. I think it is definatly the best overall prop. I have a great hole shot even with full load. I am getting 73.5 with a load and 76.6 just me and everything else. I have never ran it with less then 1/2 tank of gas so i know there is more there. The prp handles very nice and always stays hooked up
Currently running a 27T1 that has been work by Mark's Props. Awesome bow lift but a hand full, great hole shot, fast mid range and handles well in turns. A little blow out on take off at 4000rpms, but not bad. Best GPS speed is 75.2mph with all my gear, 3/4 tank and me (300#). 73.4mph with a partner (235#), gear, 3/4 tank and me (300#). Setup is 2 1/4" below pad with a 6 inch plate. I just went with a bigger plate and I am going to try a 27 Fury soon. I do not know if it will turn it or not. I have herad the 26 Fury is an all around good prop too. Boat likes a little chop on the water for the best times. Hope this helps. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

Yes it does indeed. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
I have noticed that with a light chop on the water I experience very little to no chine walk. I can feel when the boat want to fall off pad and can pretty much work through it. This happens mostly on calm waters & when I'm by my self. I'm sure load balance has a great deal to do with it. I can top out now at 71 mph (GPS) but have tons of throttle left, I am figuring my prop is too small. I tach out even with full fuel all gear and fishing buddy. I don't want to step too large on a prop and regret it. Thanks to everyone who is helping me with the valuable info you all are a great help!! http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
I know a 24 is too small. A 26 or 27 will do what you want.
I ordered a 26 Fury the dealer said he will also get a 27 and if the 26 don't as needed I can swap to 27 since it is the same cost. My follow up question is... I had the boat dialed in on the set up with the original prop, will I have to do any further adjustments because I'm upgrading to a bigger prop or with my set up I have now work well...Not sure if I asked this correctly but I'm sure you all will understand what I'm trying to ask. Thanks again for all the help you all have givin to this point! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
More than likely you will need to adjust your setup for a given prop. Some props like to run in the water more than others and some like to be near the surface. You should be somewhere between 2.5 and 1.5 inches below pad.
I had to make some changes! Ended up with a Tempest plus 26P, raise the jack plate to 1.75 inches below pad and she runs about 73 mph (GPS) and I could probably use one hand! Thanks to all you guys that helped with the process, your guidence helped considerably with correct prop, pitch, and set up. Hope this posting can aid someone else searching for assistance with the Stratos 294 XL set up. Oh BTW! still haven't hit the rev limiter yet but will cruise at about 5600rpm's to achieve the 73 mph mentioned.
Thanks!
