I have a 05 285 Pro XL and was wondering if the rod and tackle storage systems that came with some of these boats are good and where can I find them?Is there any better systems to install for rod and tackle storage in this boat. Thanks TOM

I made my own for the 285. Do a search on here and you can get tons of info on home made rod organizers. I cant be happier with what I built.
I have the one stratos offered for my 05 294. I think they are the same.. 285 and 294 just options etc. But its pretty unorganized and crappy. I'll take pictures of it in a few and post them up here if u want it u pay shipping and handling. I plan to remove it and throw it in the trash, im not impressed at all. Going to create my own.
Post a pic please. I've never seen one of the organizers.
I have a stratos 275 and I just store my rods in the rod locker with covers on them. I can get about 15 rods in it. I use the plano 3700 or bps 370 boxes for my tackle and store my plastics in a plano large storage box. I will take pictures of it and post it on the here.
Pics would be great.Thanks TOM
Here are the pics I promised you. The tackle box is a Plano Model 708. The biggest thing if you are going to tournament fish is prepare. My boxes are all labeled and I take a empty box and put the lures I plan to use during the tournament in it.

Best suggestion I can make for the rods are Stick Jackets, I can get 20+ rods if I want in my 03 285... They make it super easy to get out the rod you need, plus protects the rod.
Here is the one that came with my boat as a stratos "option"
