"Primer lever valve" on a Ficht?? Decarb procedure?
Did a search but just got more confused. Trying to decarb my Ficht and the engine tuner can says to attach to the "primer lever valve"....the only schrader valve I can find is the pressure check valve which I had read should not be used for this. Someone help me out on this. I read seveal post on other sites with long complicated prcedures that just seem like overkill...there has to be an easier way.

Your enigne does not have that valve. That is on the carbed enignes. Remove your air box and spray it into the air intakes. Make sure the engine does not take off on you while spraying it in.

That valve is a test point for fuel not for injecting engine tuner and Joe is correct there is no primer solenoid on a DFI motor.

Will the engine tuner cause a spike in the RPM's at idle? I assumed it would have the opposite affect. I know how quick these engines can rev while on the muffs and I don't want to be 6' from the switch if this thing goes ballistic.

It won't really spike, it will come up just a bit. I prefer to put the tuner in the spark plug hole. It doesn't take a lot to clean the inside of the engine, there is no/little carbon below the rings.Plus you can let the tuner set for a few hours on top of the piston. Either wat will produce results. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
