50HP JOHNSON MOTOR MOUNTS
hey i need help I HAVE A 2001 50HP JOHNNY THAT HAS ALOT OF PLAY SIDE TO SIDE.ITS NOT THE STEERING CABLE.it seems to be a mount or loose bolts.if i rock engine back and forth (right to left)it will move a couple inches each way without moving steering cable.and wobbles when runnin at idle or trailering.do i need to remove power head to fix this or is there an easier way.i can see whats loose just cant figure out how to get to it!its in the front below power head.i can see the threads but bolt heads are no where in sight.thats were its excess play is coming from.looks like theres a long spacer to do with it. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/embarassed.gif

You will need to remove the power head because the bolt heads are under there, the bolts run through the mounts and into the steering arm.
