Why not an 04 195 ProXL ???l
I haven't seen any performance setups or anyone talking about an 04 Stratos 195 ProXl. Why is that ? Did stratos not make this model long or did they change the name to the 295 ? I'm looking for a great setup to push me over 70mph. I have a 200Vmax, 25m prop and can run around 68mph before the chime walk sets in. water pressure at 12-15lbs. I know you pros out there have some ideas...

The biggest thing is learn to drive it. That boat/motor combo will run low 70's. I'd try to get my hands on a 25T1 to try over that M.
Do not over correct when the chine starts. Very small corrections to the left is generally all it takes. You'll get to where you do it and never even notice any chine--you basically correct it before it starts. The worst thing you can do is correct to the left and then go past center and correct to the right. Sawing at the wheel is what NOT to do.
And to answer your question, the 195 has the same layout as the 295. The 195, 295, and 294 all share the same hull. The 294 however has the single front storage compartment instead of the two and a couple of other small differences.
