Found a heck of a good deal on a '99 295 Pro Elite with a '99 200hp Evinrude Ficht. All the updates were done on the engine in '01 and the boat looks almost new with no signs of wear at all. Other than my concerns with the engine is there anything I should look out for on this boat? Any problems with the hulls on these like I've heard about on some of the Extremes?

Agreed. I had a '99 295 with a 175 Johnson. The boat ran great with that motor and was an absolute pleasure to have. You'll love it. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
I have this same year and model boat right now with a 200 Johnson on it. I have been very happy with the performance. Handles really well and it is pretty fast. I would be happy to answer any specific questions you may have and I will say that I dont think you would regret it if you pulled the trigger. If this boat doesnt have a jackplate and you end up getting it, put one it. I added a 6" plate to mine and it drives like a different boat. Folks on this board got me pointed in the right direction with mine, I am sure you can find any help you may need on here.

Be very careful with that motor. The boat itself is great, but the ficht was OMC's demise.
That was my main concern but I'm getting the boat for $10k and its been well taken care of. Even if I have to repower in a year or two I will still have gotten a decent deal...I think. Either way to late to worry about it now....I'm picking the boat up tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your input!
