Could someone explain how they are suppose to work? The only pumps that work are the recerculate. Which switches do what? Front switches don't do anything. No timer or auto function either.

What year 295? If it's like a '97 then you need to use BOTH switches. Turn the one on the dash to "on" then use the one on the bow.
It's a 96.
I have switches at the console that say port and starboard, one that say's fishing???, then the manual open and close. On the bow I have, auto, 2, 4, 6, both port and starboard. These switches don't seem to do anything.
Its been a couple of years since I got rid of my 92 with the same setup, so I may be a little off. The 04 is much more user friendly.
The manual open and close keeps your livewells full.
The switch at the console runs your aerator/fills the livewells.
The one that says fishing (i think mine was on the bow panel) is for the recirculator.
The auto, 2,4,6 is the timer for your pumps. and I think it may only work for recirc.
Good luck
To use the switches on the bow, the "fishing" switch on the console must be turned on...Then each switch on the bow can be turned to auto or manual depending if you want the timers on..The 2-4-6 switch determines the minutes the timers are off between cycles... It should also have switches on the console for the other pumps that do not have timers...
