175 Johnson with idle problems?????

I have a 175 Johnson on my renegade. The motor starts up fine and will flat out fly on the top end and while getting up on plane. My problem is once it get hot and in hot weather it wants to die when I idle thru a no wake zone or something that requires me to idle, it is like it is not getting enough gas. sometime it helps to push in the choke if it is trying to die, the extra squirt of gas keeps it going but once the motor gets hot and in hot weather it will die often when idleing. The problem is not as bad when the weather is cool and the motor is still cold. Any help from all you knowledgeable boat folks that post on this site would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try putting this on the Evinrude/Johnson board. There's some really good people there and they'll get you running again.
