can anyone tell me on the 294, standard equipment is manual and auto bilge.I have an 06 and have manual bilge installed, single throw switch on dash that says dual bilge auto and manual, battery has orange an d black wire that is marked for auto bilge but only have one bilge that is manual and one outlet on boat for same, can someone tell me if this is correct on the 294s or am i missing the correct pump?
It's just one pump. There is a float switch installed if you have the auto-bilge. I thought it was standard in '06. One way to find out is put the plug in and start filling the bilge with a water hose. It'll kick on after you get a few gallons in it. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
I'd add a secondary manual pump just in case the auto fails a 750 GPH would be fine. Of course you would have to pop a hole in the top cap to add it.
thanks for the replies, yes it was supposed to be standard, mine is wired direct fom battery for auto but the pump is definetly a manual 800 gph made by rule only works when turned on by switch at dash
You should be able to add an auto float switch to your existing set up.
