I bet it is near 80!
If I had a hydraulic plate, I might touch 80 with just me and my usual tackle. I've reached and held 78.9 GPS at 5500rpm. I've not tweaked my setup since it came home from C&O.
At one time, Todd had a Blue/black 200 ProXL with hydraulic plate with the E-rude DI 225 HO that reached and maintained 80.
I have run 81.2 with just me and my normal load during cool weather and water temps.
I am running a Blue/black 200 ProXL with hydraulic plate with 225 HO DI from C&O Marine http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Duane you probably could reach 80 if you sent your prop to Mark and let him work it. It sounds like you need to gain a few RPM's
Flipping, what model year is your boat. If you bought it as a demo, I might have actually ridden in it. . . http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
The 200 Pro XL w/ a 225 H.O. E-TEC with a 30 pitch Raker will run over 80 mph. I ran right at 81 with mine last year. The problem was holeshot. I couldn't get the 30 to hook up. It took a long time of feathering the throttle to get it on plane. With a 28 Raker (not Raker II) or a 29 TXP, I had an excellent holeshot and still ran 78-79. That is an excellent performing combination of boat and motor. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
Duane, my boat is a 2005, I bought it in Feb. of 2005. It was a team boat.
