Re: Skeeter wood transom (Skeet Skeet-er)
Looking at the Skeeter brochures on Doug V. web site
(http://www.dougvahrenberg.com/Skeeter1996.html), 96 was the year they introduced a composte stinger & transom in the zx300c, zx200c and zx190c. The zx180 was not composite. In 97, all of the zx series have the "c" designation.

Great site for brochures the SS 150 is identical to mine other than mine has a red bottom.
So the "c" designation means composite for the ZX series, any info on the other models? Did they only use it for there top of the line models. Mines a 97 SS150 and very hard to find info.
Re: Skeeter wood transom (Skeet Skeet-er)
The "C" at the end of the model number refers to composite. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

Re: Skeeter wood transom (-BjBnet-)
SO only the ZX series from 96 on that had the "C" was composite, all other hulls models without it were wood?
Re: Skeeter wood transom (Skeet Skeet-er)
Boats produced after 96 may not have had the "C" designation but were composite.
Do not be so hung up boats that are composite. If they were not maintained properly, they will delaminate and come apart much like wood.
Re: Skeeter wood transom (Skeet'r89)
I've got an 04 ZX250 and I can assure you. There is wood in this boat.
Bought it wrecked, rebuilt it.
Now, I did not go into this boat with a saw trying to find wood. So, I didn't look everwhere.
But, The tops of the stringer boxes are definately wood.
And the composite material for the floor in the bilge area? Just a bad idea.
