TZX livewell recirc "auto" - timer??
Guys - I've got an '05 TZX200 with the rocker switches. The manual says that the recirc pumps can either be placed in "manual" position to run all of the time, or "auto" to run on a timed on/off cycle. Does anyone know if this timed cycle is adjustable? I don't see a dial tpye timer that might be typical to adjust the frequency of the on/off.
The ZX's with the push-button panel have a button that you can set for 1, 3, or 5 minute cycles.
Any thoughts on the TZX? Maybe it's just set up at a non-adjustable 3 minutes or something?
Thanks

I been wondering that myself since my old 93 zx had timer options as well and 2010 zx don't.I wonder if Skeeter had researched optimum recirc. time and left it at that or just a cost cut. Mine seems like it runs at a pretty often time which is fine with me so far but its also not as hot as it is down south.
Do I-Class or new FX have timer option?

Good question ...... I've been wondering the same thing about my TZX 190.
And I have YET to find any kind of timer under the dash ..... and I've been under there on 3 seperate occassions installing electronics ..... and have yet to find anything.
I've thought about installing an aftermarket one myself ..... however I've not lost a fish yet, so it's not broke. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif

Re: TZX livewell recirc "auto" - timer?? (ChrisH)
05 SX190 owners manual explains it is set to 1 minute on & 2 minutes off, nearest I can tell is that is correct. Haven't looked to see if there is an adjustment, just assuned there wasn't.
Biggest problem I have is when running is AUTO mode and timer on, I have to throttle back the valve because the drain overflow can not handle the flow and it runs over the top of livewell which floods the boat, withour seeing it. Anyone else having this problem? I have always ran AUTO (fresh water in) instead of recirc.

Same SX boat as yours and always run on recirc...no problems here...i have left the pumps on and water ran out the lw's and got in the bilge but just pumped the water out..no big deal for me....the wells are not seald at top so it will happen unless you put some silicone around the lip....
