Will adding a jackplate on a 2008 ZX 180 void the warranty?

I have an 08 zx 180 with a 150 carbed vmax. I am wondering if anyone knows if it will void my warranty? Most of the zx models do not have a splash well but this one does. Im sure someone may have asked this before but I can not find it in the archives. Any help would be appreciated. I also can not find this info on skeeters site either.

Not sure, check with skeeter before you add one. Also insurance may not pay a claim if you decide to go stump jumpin

I know it will on the SX models but not sure on the ZX 180.

2011 models do not offer a jackplate as an option. Not sure about voiding warrenty. I would call Skeeter
