I think the 225 would be under powered I'd want a 250 on it. My ZX225 has a 200hp and it should have a 225hp

Saw a couple of those on Boat Trader and they were a tad cheaper than an i with 250. I would want the motor best suited for the boat, in that case a 250.
mid 40s if new, low side

I would say mid to low 40's. Think about resale buying that 225 for a 20i. Most people including myself wouldnt even consider it. If you spend a little more for one with a 250 you will get your money back when you resale. Just my thoughts. Either way you will love the boat I promise!
Go with the 250 on the 20i. You'll love it even more. In all honesty I was a skeptic that the iClass would be a step above the XZ when I bought mine. Lets face it the ZX 225 is probably one of the best bassboat models of all time. Great performance but even better fishiability.
That being said I continue to be amazed at how much I love my 20I. I can tell you just in the short time I have had it I have already caused two of my buddies to start looking for one and they run other brnads now. Both have been with me in rough water in it and they fell in love with the boat. It is an awesome boat. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/bows.gif
Thanks for the info http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
I don't think you would be happy with a 225 on a 20I.
