Finally took the bug in for repairs....and the total is 3147.00 never thought a few scrapes could cost so much to repair but oh well, that's when insurance is good! I think when I get it back I'm going to trade it in. Anyone have any experience with fiberglass repair and how it holds up?
Had some repairs done my old boat....Some deep gouges in the bottom and impact cracks on the topcap. Ran it for 8yrs after that with zero problems. You could not tell that it had been damaged. That said, make sure you take it to a reputable repair shop.
That sucks but at least it's being dealt with... i think you'll be fine once it's repaired.. shame it had to happen in the first place but like you say that's what insurance is for.

I can't wait to get it back and I think I'm going to keep it I just hate seeing all the deals out there on newer boats. I hate rivers and rocks!
