90 Trakker Evinrude 110hp Hard to start
Guy's I have a 1990 110hp Tracker Evinrude on my Nitro, when trying to start for the first time in the morning, or after it has sat for a week, it is a bear to get started. I pump the ball to firm, then I have to use the choke it seems like 4 times, and it just doesn't want to start, once it is started it runs great. Any Ideas?
Jim

Try this, pump up ball, crank while choking. When engine fires up and it sounds like it wants to die ,choke it for just a second until it runs smooth again. You may have to do this 2 or 3 times to get her ideling right. If it hits and dies, then try cranking with out the choke the next time but be ready to choke when it acts like it wants to die. Hope this helps.
