Today after I launched and was idling waiting on the wife to park the truck http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif I got a long tone twice about 5 seconds apart - the little tone chart don't describe one like this, turned off the motor started it back up and it was pumping water and smoking (oil mix ) just fine and didn't beep .........
Our no wake zone is about 1/2 mile and I was idling and I mean no throttle in gear and about 2/3 the way it did it again......turned it off and checked the oil tank and it had a good prime on it.......started back up and never heard it again and the boat ran great...anybody know what this might be..??
Just one of my worries because when I parked at home I smelt hot brakes and the discs were real hot..................jacked up and checked both sides and they are releasing and grabbing like they should on the tongue slide, and the reverse switch is activating to back up, but riding in the back of the truck in the neighborhood the gravity slide seems kinda stiff on the tongue, I sure do got a feeling I'm about to throw more money in the hole in the water.. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
