aight guys for the ones whos skeeters did not come with a 10 micron fuel filter and installed one how did you do it. fixin to install one on my 05 tzx190 and was wonderin how youll did it cause of the two seperate tanks. before or after the tank selector switch.
Ill try to look at how mine is done Wednesday. I believe a line comes from each tank to the switch and the out of the switch to the filter and to the motor. If i can take pics I will.
I know the one in my 2008 Skeeter is in a hard to get to place and a pain to change.
On mine it is between the selector switch and the engine....had it in the shop last week so let the mechanic change it....if it is as hard to change as it is to see I'll bet its a burger....

I have an 05 ZX225 and when I took it in for service last year, the dealer ( not a skeeter dealer, but works on them) got one installed for free as a 'warranty' from Skeeter. You may want to call your dealer.
the bulb goes between the filter and the engine. There should be 1 hose ( the hose that goes to the engine, that you will "splice" to place the micron filter... Here's mine:
