Re: Rec Pump ?? (macinckirk)
Also I just pulled the other 1 and when you shake it is sounds like water is in the unit I was going to save it for a spare for the Fill pumps since I'm sure there 500g too but is this unit going to be worth saving??
1st time having to change these pumps EVER in my 20 plus years owning boats, so I'm not sure if the water should be in there or not
Re: Rec Pump ?? (macinckirk)
Could it be water trapped in the hose and the 700 pump has more pumping power than the 500 and is pulling it up? I had a pump go out after a year of use. Replace them i with the 700's and they pump more and better than the 500's, you could tell a big difference.
Re: Rec Pump ?? (fishin couillon)
No there leaking about 2 gallons a hour out of both sides, I really like the 700's and when I have to change the other 2 fill pumps out I'll put the 700's in them too
To some people this would not be a big deal BUT to me it is. I like everything to be 100% perfect I guess you can say I'm a****l about thing like this
I should of took some pics last night when I was standing there watching it and having a beer
I guess I'll be living with it though, because I'm not changing them out again untill I goes out

Re: Rec Pump ?? (macinckirk)
I changed mine to the 700 gph pumps and they dont pump any water out of the pump out holes. I think you have a problem with the red pull out valve that pumps the water out of the livewells. I am almost sure you can unscrew those valve in the boat and take them apart and clean them.
