Maybe I'm not savvy enough with these units and someone can answer straight up, but what do you mean by change the format on the Garmin? You going to manually create them in Homeport and upload them to the unit?Quote:

You can choose any format you want.
An easier way - no converting needed - is to go to your Lowrance and Export them as a GPX file. Then just copy the file to your Garmin folder on the sd card that you use in the 7610.
Or you can use that file in Homeport to edit them before putting them on the 7610.

What method did you use? I've been wanting to do that for over a year and it was one failure after another. I gave up on it

Not sure what specific Lowrance units you have, but more recent units with current software have the ability to directly export in GPX format, which Garmin will directly import.Quote:
