Steering Problem

A mate of mine just bought a SX170 with a ETech 115 The steering at idle is fine but the faster you go the harder it gets in fact l drove it and l think its unsafe..its just the cable type ....he was told that power steering is not a option on this model .Any ideas ?

Is it hard to steer in both directions or is it only hard to steer either to the left or the right.
If it is hard to steer in one or the other it could be a trim issue or the motor may be to high. if it is hard to steer in both then- I don't know.
