For vertical fishing on deep structure, I was thinking of mounting a PS 30 (Downscan) transducer on the bottom of trolling motor. I assume someone has already done this. Does garmin have a bracket that adapts transducer to this location ?

I would use a da ducer stick other wise you would have to design your own bracket.
