My Garmin Express is showing a US Lakes map update to 2016.10. Probably just minor changes. I called Garmin who said they're expecting a 2017 release later this month.

My Garmin Express is showing a US Lakes map update to 2016.10. Probably just minor changes. I called Garmin who said they're expecting a 2017 release later this month.
Last I heard, you (still) couldnt download any map updates, so you may as well wait for the big one coming up.
If your "one year free up-date" period is about to run out, you should call Garmin and get an extension so they will let you download the new data when its finally available.
Well, that was the other reason I called them. Express let me download the maps I already had and that counted as my free update. They noted my account so I can get the latest when I comes out.Quote:
